ABOUT
Gary Blevins is an artist currently residing in Springfield, Ohio. After graduating from Springfield North High School in 1970, he attended the Dayton Art Institute for two years, and then studied Fine Arts at The Ohio State University. 2002, he offered a watercolor of the newly expanded Ohio State Stadium to a marketing company affiliated with Ohio State University. The marketing company had it licensed with The Ohio State University, as well as several other paintings done for them by Gary so they could sell his prints. This is when Gary's life shifted toward art as a profession. Throughout his life, he closely studied the works of Norman Rockwell and Terry Redlin as well as several other known artists. Gary also studied at The Louve in Paris France. He never sticks to one genre and his works include paintings done in oils, acrylics, and even a piece done with egg tempera. He paints landscapes, portraits, sports, wildlife, religious scenes and more.
